The second quarter of 2024 has seen considerable activity in the Film & Television app category in Latin America. Sensor Tower's data offers a comprehensive look at the performance of the top contenders on the unified platform.

Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies from WarnerMedia Global Digital Services, LLC, displayed an upward trend in revenue, peaking at $2M in the third week of June. Downloads began strong at 2.05M but saw a dip to 1.32M by the quarter's end. Weekly active users showed consistent growth, starting at 11.49M and reaching a high of 19.23M.

Netflix, a staple in the streaming world, maintained revenues around the $100K mark, with a slight increase to $100K in the last week of June. Downloads hovered around the 800K mark, with a notable peak of 905K in the final week. Active users had slight fluctuations, starting at 46.96M and ending at 45.71M.

Amazon Prime Video by AMZN Mobile LLC showed consistent revenue, with a mid-quarter peak at $418K. Download numbers were robust, starting at 523K and peaking at 699K in late April. Weekly active users saw an initial 6.79M, which grew to a peak of 7.75M by mid-June.

The beloved Disney+ from Disney showed a strong revenue increase, ending the quarter at a notable $1.99M. Downloads saw a significant jump, beginning at 513K and ending with a surge to 1.19M. Active users started at 8.47M, dipping mid-quarter but rebounding to an impressive 11.42M by June's end.

Lastly, ViX: TV, Fútbol y Noticias by Univision Communications Inc. saw revenues rise to $598K in mid-June before settling at $531K. Downloads started at 576K, with an end-of-quarter spike to 727K. Active users remained relatively stable, beginning at 6.62M and climbing to 7.39M.
